Ice Cream Prit presses the Election Commission to provide additional answers regarding the election fraud case of the An Amnat Charoen Constituency 1 MP seat, asking if it is ready to disclose all investigation and hearing results at every level to ensure transparency.
13 Aug 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Prit Watthanasil a party-list member of parliament from the Prachachon Party (PCN), postedon Facebookraising further questions to the Election Commission (EC). He asked whether the case file concerning the MP election, for which the EC official who received a transfer of 860,000 baht was responsible during the transfer period (April–July 2024), is connected to the complaint about election fraud in An Amnat Charoen Constituency 1 and the allegations against Ms. Suksomruay Wantaneeyakul, Bhumjaithai Party MP, whose complaint the EC dismissed in May 2024. On 11 August, the EC stated that the official was responsible for investigating the MP election case during the period when the money was transferred.
The questions to the EC are: 1. In the EC statement saying the official who received the money was assigned to investigate the MP election case, is this case the complaint about election fraud in An Amnat Charoen Constituency 1 involving allegations against Ms. Suksomruay Wantaneeyakul?
2. Has the EC completed its investigation without any remaining doubts that the money transfer is unrelated to the election decision number 78/2024, which dismissed the complaint regarding the MP election in An Amnat Charoen Constituency 1 and Ms. Suksomruay Wantaneeyakul?
3. Is the EC willing to disclose the results of all investigations and hearings at every level to ensure transparency, including the names of those responsible for investigating, hearing, and making decisions at each level and their opinions?
