Nattapong condemned the Blue Regime for rendering the country futureless, vowing to keep every bill for the no-confidence debate. He hinted at preparing to reveal in-depth information never before spoken of in the media and criticized Anutin’s social media posts mocking opponents as undignified and unworthy.
On 14 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the Prachachon Party and opposition leader, confirmed that a no-confidence debate against the government will definitely take place in this parliamentary session. However, he could not disclose an exact date and time yet because the constitution stipulates that once a no-confidence motion is submitted, the executive cannot dissolve parliament. Revealing a clear timeline in advance must be considered carefully and somewhat contradicts political tactics. Nevertheless, he affirmed readiness to rigorously scrutinize the executive.
Regarding the preparation of debate content, Nattapong said the opposition has already been conducting daily inquiries and questions. However, during the no-confidence debate, they will disclose "in-depth information" that cannot be revealed through ordinary media because the debate forum affords parliamentary privilege protecting the work of opposition MPs.
Moreover, concerning the Khao Kradong land issue involving the Department of Lands and the Department of Highways, this is just one of several key issues. There are many other important matters as well. He emphasized that the evidence they have—including financial trails, audio recordings, and geographic proof—clearly links politicians aligned with the Bhumjaithai Party. Denials of involvement are therefore unconvincing.
Nattapong further stated that the Blue Regime is the root of many current problems, especially corruption and lack of transparency, which the public is increasingly recognizing. He stressed that as long as the country is governed under this regime, Thailand will have no future. The opposition has collected all evidence and “every bill” of the government's failures and corrupt administration to expose during the no-confidence debate.
Nattapong said that those holding the prime ministership should use communication channels and social media to address national issues and benefit the public. Using personal social media to mock or allude to opposition politicians, and then refusing to admit it directly when questioned by the media, is inappropriate behavior for a national leader.
