Kusumalvati Presents Criminal Court Warrant to Request Case File on Senator Election Collusion from the Election Commission

"Je Mao Kusumalvati" presented a criminal court warrant to request the investigation case file on the collusion in the 26th Senator election subcommittee from "Sa-wang," citing the need to expedite the court's consideration.

At 10:36 a.m. on 19 August 2026 at the Election Commission Office (EC). :" Mrs. Kusumalvati Sirikomut, also known as Je Mao, brought a criminal court warrant to submit a request for documents, the investigation case file of the 26th Senatorial election collusion subcommittee, from Mr. Sa-wang Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, stating that she and her legal team brought the warrant to personally receive the case file to submit to the court for the speedy adjudication of the defamation lawsuit filed against her by the Bhumjaithai Party. The lawsuit concerns allegations she made that the party and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul were involved in corruption related to the 2024 Senator elections.

Kusumalvati said the documents she requested today are the entire findings of the 26th subcommittee, which constitute key evidence that previously implicated 229 individuals in cases involving financial misconduct and the dissolution of the Bhumjaithai Party. This includes matters concerning Anutin and personnel within the party. She added that if the Election Commission does not submit these documents to the court or instead submits files from another subcommittee like the 36th, she will use the 26th subcommittee's documents to file a lawsuit under Section 144 herself to protect the public interest. The court has scheduled another hearing on 9 October 2026, so it is necessary to promptly bring this evidence to support the case. Today’s step involves formally submitting the court warrant to the Election Commission.
