Prachachon MPs continue to assist flood victims in Nan, supporting rescue efforts, packing supplies, and deploying tractors to push mud and restore the city after floodwaters recede.
On 22 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that on 21 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the Prachachon party team in Nan province, led by MP Chaowit Innoy of Nan's 1st district and MP Charoen Apipatkosol of Nan's 3rd district, remained continuously in the field to assist and alleviate suffering of flood-affected residents across Nan. Their support spans from crisis relief through to post-flood recovery phases.
In Mueang Nan district, MP Chaowit visited the Nan Provincial Administrative Organization sports stadium to deliver drinking water and water containers to the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, supporting rescue personnel and volunteers. He also helped prepare and pack boxed meals and essential consumer goods for rapid distribution to severely affected residents at various locations.
In Tha Wang Pha district, entering the recovery phase, MP Chaowit and his team brought tractors to expedite pushing mud and clearing access roads around Ban Nong Bua in Pa Kha subdistrict and Ban Tha Kham in Rim subdistrict, enabling residents to resume using routes and begin cleaning their homes promptly.
Meanwhile, in Pua district, where floodwaters have receded leaving widespread damage, MP Charoen inspected damage in Silaphet subdistrict, especially village 8 which was heavily impacted, to assess the situation and plan recovery. Concurrently, volunteers intensified efforts to clean vulnerable homes and temple areas in Ban Rong community, Silalaeng and Ngaeng subdistricts. These sites suffered severe damage, with thick mud, debris, and contaminants left by floodwaters. Teams worked together to shovel mud, power wash surfaces, and clear debris to restore conditions for residents to resume normal life quickly.
The Prachachon party extends its support and encouragement to flood victims, rescue workers, and all volunteers laboring in this effort. They affirm their commitment to stand by the people and remain active in the area until the post-flood recovery mission is fully completed.
