MP Kungfu Follows Up on Aid for Sergeant Jo, Coordinates Agencies to Expedite Family Assistance

Vasawan Puangpornsi (MP Kungfu) is actively following up on aid for Sergeant Jo, a brave soldier who recently lost his leg in the 15th horse saddle channel incident, while coordinating with relevant agencies to advance documentation to assist the family.

On 22 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Vasawan Puangpornsi (MP Kungfu), a party-list MP and Secretary-General of the Thai Ruam Palang Party, visited the area to track progress on preparing documents for rehabilitation support for Sergeant Channarong Wongsana, or "Sergeant Jo," a brave soldier from the bomb disposal unit who lost his leg after stepping on a mine, becoming the 15th Thai soldier to suffer such an injury. He also coordinated with related agencies, including the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection and the Prime Minister’s Office, to expedite the process.

During this follow-up, the Director-General of the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection pledged to expedite the review and tracking of related documents to ensure the rehabilitation process proceeds quickly and that the family receives their entitled benefits.

Additionally, MP Kungfu personally donated money to encourage the Wongsana family. The president of the Line On Chayangkul Ubon Ratchathani Club also joined in supporting the family. MP Kungfu will continue to monitor the rehabilitation progress and coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the family receives assistance and payments promptly.
