Je Setth Emphasizes No Need for Citizens to Submit Copies for Nan Flood Relief

'Je Setth' emphasizes accelerating flood relief in Nan, stating that citizens do not need to submit document copies themselves. Local authorities will assist victims to reduce the burden of filing relief requests.

On 22 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Je Setth Thaisetth, Deputy Minister of Interior, reiterated the importance of aid and relief for flood victims in Nan province, urging government agencies and local administrative organizations to facilitate the people.

Those affected in the actual flood zones should report to village chiefs, headmen, community leaders, or local organizations to collect data for district offices. To ease the burden on residents, local administrative organizations will make copies of house registration and ID cards for victims to reduce the effort in filing relief claims. Additionally, if citizens have photos of the damage, they can submit them to officials to support their requests for assistance. This is to ensure that the processproceeds smoothly and swiftly.
