Royal Command Relieves General Chuchat of Special Royal Guard Duties

The Royal Gazette published a decree stating that the King has granted General Chuchat Kampu Na Ayutthaya relief from his duties as Special Royal Guard Officer, effective from 15 August 2026.


On 22 August 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a decree relieving the Special Royal Guard Officer from his duties. It stated that, by royal command and under the authority of Section 7 of the 2017 Security Protection Act, Sections 6, 7, and 11 of the 1937 Royal Guard Act, and Article 6 of the 2016 Ministry of Defense regulations on Royal Guard appointments, the King graciously commanded that General Chuchat Kampu Na Ayutthaya be relieved from his duties as Special Royal Guard Officer.


This relief has been effective since 15 August 2026.

The decree is dated 21 August 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
