The government is expediting facilitation and advises citizens to promptly submit requests for eligibility review of the State Welfare Registration Project through the one-stop OSS centers, emphasizing action by 31 August.
On 23 August 2026, Ms. Ploytale Laksamee Sangchan, Deputy Spokesperson of the Office of the Prime Minister, stated that the government is accelerating facilitation for citizens wishing to request a review of eligibility under the "2026 State Welfare Registration Project." It is integrating cooperation among all relevant government agencies to fully support the public through OSS centers at district and subdistrict levels under the Department of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior, with staff prepared to provide convenient, prompt, and comprehensive one-stop services.
The OSS centers serve as the main points for receiving applications, providing advice, and coordinating with eligibility verification agencies to assist citizens at every step. If additional documents are needed, OSS centers will collect and forward them to relevant agencies to reduce citizens' travel and multiple contacts. In cases of personal data misuse, citizens should report to the police for evidence; OSS centers will coordinate with police stations and relevant agencies to facilitate document collection and submission for eligibility verification.
For citizens who do not pass the eligibility review but wish to request reconsideration, they must confirm their intention to "request an eligibility review" through four channels: the Paotang application, the State application, the State Welfare Registration Project website, or one of five participating state banks. These banks are the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Savings Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand. The deadline is 31 August 2026.
After confirming their intention to "request an eligibility review," citizens can correct or update their information with verification agencies until 20 September 2026. The review results will be announced on 30 September 2026, and those approved can begin using their state welfare benefits from 1 October 2026 onward.
