23 Aug 2026 GMT+7 Decharat Sukgamned, candidate for Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization president, People’s Party Together with Preeti Charoensilp, Member of Parliament for Nonthaburi District 5 from the People’s Party, they visited District 5 in Nonthaburi to meet residents and present the “NEW Nonthaburi” policies. They began at the Wat Saphan Sung morning market, talking with vendors and locals while distributing introductory leaflets. The focus was on economic policies to ease burdens and improve the quality of life for Nonthaburi residents, amid a warm atmosphere with many people joining and offering support.
They then attended a Quran reading event with the Muslim community at Prasert Islam Mosque before proceeding to Tha It Mosque. Decharat walked along the Tha It riverside embankment for more than 800 meters, discussing policies tailored to local conditions, including stimulating the riverside community economy, preparing systematic flood prevention, and seriously tackling drug issues. Afterwards, he took a lunch break and greeted people at the Wat Saeng Siritham riverside market.
In the evening, Decharat and the People’s Party team planned to meet residents at the 18 Cord Market to present policies addressing traffic problems, safety, and education. They would then continue to the 88 Khlong Phra Udom Market to discuss education and public health policies.
