
Yotsanan deeply mourns the passing of Supamongkol Ratanajit, a volunteer from the Friends in Need (of HRH The Princess Mother) Foundation, expressing gratitude for his selfless assistance to the public during the flood crisis.
24 Aug 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, posted a message viaFacebookexpressing condolences over the loss of a special task force volunteer from the Friends in Need (of HRH The Princess Mother) Foundation during the flooding situation in Nan Province, stating: “I would like to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Supamongkol Ratanajit, a special task force volunteer from the Friends in Need (of HRH The Princess Mother) Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society. I also sincerely thank him for his full dedication and sacrifice in helping people during this flood disaster.”
Mr. Yotsanan further said that initially the Governor of Nan Province has coordinated with relevant agencies to closely manage care and assistance according to proper procedures. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and offered encouragement to all personnel working in the area.
