“Decharat” Campaigns in Nonthaburi Promoting “NEW Nonth” Policy to Empower Farmers and Support the Elderly

Decharat from the Prachachon Party campaigned in Nonthaburi promoting the “NEW Nonth” policy to uplift farmers and care for the elderly. He highlighted the “Elderly Not Cheated” project, mobilizing teams to advise seniors to prevent them from falling victim to online scams and fraud.

On 25 August 2026, Decharat Sukkamned, candidate number 4 for Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization president from the Prachachon Party, along with Panyarath Nanthaphusitanon, campaigned in Nonthaburi to meet residents and present the “NEW Nonth” policy.

Starting at Bang Sri Muang Municipal Market, Decharat met with locals, distributed introductory leaflets, engaged in conversations, and listened to their concerns. Many residents greeted him, shared their views, and offered encouragement throughout the visit.

Next, Decharat went to Bang Krang Municipal Office to hear farmers’ issues and participate in activities with the elderly. He emphasized the “Cheerful Nonth Farmers” policy focused on upgrading Nonthaburi farmers by reducing costs through fertilizers and machinery, promoting direct purchase of produce for school meals, supporting agricultural tourism, and applying technology for environmental care. Young farmers will be key drivers in developing markets and securing steady incomes.

He also highlighted the “Elderly Heart of Nonth” policy aiming to establish recreational centers for seniors in every district, with at least one Day Care center per district within four years. Additionally, the “Elderly Not Cheated” project will assemble teams to advise and protect seniors in Nonthaburi from online scams.

In the afternoon, Decharat visited Wat Khang Khao to listen to problems and inspect the riverbank embankment along the Chao Phraya River, which is experiencing subsidence issues affecting the local community.

This evening, Decharat planned to visit Wat Khian to campaign, meet residents, and gather opinions from locals. He intends to incorporate their voices into advancing the “NEW Nonth” policy to develop Nonthaburi Province in line with the people's needs.
