On 25 August 2026, the Royal Gazette website published an announcement from the House of Representatives regarding the appointment of a parliamentary official in the political division. It stated that, following the royal command appointing the opposition leader in the House of Representatives dated 8 May 2026, pursuant to Section 106 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, and under the authority of Sections 92 (7) and 95, paragraph one, of the Parliamentary Officials Act B.E. 2554 (2011), Miss Piangphano Boongklam is hereby appointed as a parliamentary official in the political division, serving as advisor to the opposition leader in the House of Representatives, effective from 14 May 2026 onward.
