
Punsuk Phosu, wife of Teacher Kaew – Supachai Phosu, reported as a party-list MP for the Bhumjaithai Party, replacing Piboon Ratchakitprakarn after his resignation.
At 09:00 on 26 August 2026 GMT+7. Mrs. Punsuk Phosu, a party-list Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bhumjaithai Party. She reported to the Secretariat Office of the House of Representatives to fill the vacancy, following the House announcement dated 17 April 2026 that those next in line on the party list would move up to become MPs. This announcement named Mr. Piboon Ratchakitprakarn, ranked 22nd on the Bhumjaithai party list, as having been elevated to MP, as published in the Government Gazette on 17 April 2026.
Mr. Piboon submitted his resignation as a Member of Parliament effective 17 April 2026, resulting in the termination of his membership under Section 101 (3) of the 2017 Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand. Therefore, under the authority of Section 105 (2) of the same Constitution, the next person on the Bhumjaithai party list is hereby declared promoted to MP.
Reporters noted that Mrs. Punsuk Phosu is the wife of Mr. Supachai Phosu, former Deputy Speaker of the Thai House of Representatives, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and former Nakhon Phanom MP for the Bhumjaithai Party.
