On 26 August 2026, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview at Santimaitri Building regarding the opposition's plan to hold a seminar presenting evidence of Senate election rigging at the Pullman King Power Rangnam Hotel on Saturday, 29 August. The Prime Minister briefly responded in a cheerful tone, "That's good."
When asked if the choice of venue was a symbolic gesture, Anutin laughed and said, "Oh... thank you for supporting." He added that it was simply supporting a friend's business, as he is close to the owner of King Power. Regarding whether the choice of hotel carried any significance, the Prime Minister affirmed that he was unaware and that the matter had no connection to him.
