The government spokesperson warns those who failed the State Welfare Card eligibility due to vehicle data to promptly submit a rights review by 31 August to avoid losing their entitled benefits.
On 28 August 2026, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, emphasized a reminder to citizens who were disqualified from the 2026 State Welfare Card registration due to vehicle ownership data. If they believe the data is incorrect or there are facts that need further verification, they should promptly submit a rights review request by 31 August 2026. This is to preserve their own rights.
As of 24 August 2026, the Department of Land Transport reported that 370,207 people have submitted requests, covering 663,040 vehicles. Some were disqualified due to vehicle age exceeding the permitted limit.
Those wishing to correct information can contact the One Stop Service (OSS) centers at district or provincial levels nationwide until 31 August 2026, and submit additional documents until 20 September 2026. The Ministry of Finance will announce the review results on 30 September 2026, and successful applicants will begin using their benefits from 1 October 2026.
