Minister Nikorn revealed that the Ministry of Social Development will respond to the Ministry of Education by linking the violence case referral system starting 1 September and is preparing to fully open assistance reporting through "Traffy Fondue" by the end of the year.
On 28 August 2026, Nikorn Somkalang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, chaired a meeting to prepare for connecting the assistance reporting system via the Traffy Fondue platform with the ministry's 1300 call center. This follows the Ministry of Education launching a reporting channel for incidents, issues, and complaints within schools through Traffy Edu, anticipating requests for help in cases involving violence, which falls under the shared responsibility with the Ministry of Social Development.
Nikorn stated that the Ministry of Social Development has discussed connecting its case intake system with Traffy Fondue and conducted training for responsible staff to build knowledge, understanding, and operational guidelines on 27 August. The training was led by Dr. Wasan Pattarothikom, Assistant Director of the National Science and Technology Development Agency. The system connection will begin immediately, with an initial management team to review, screen, and refer incoming cases from the system to external agencies and related departments. For example, violence cases reported in schools will be forwarded to regional offices or the Department of Children and Youth to provide prompt and appropriate assistance. This is expected to start from 1 September onward.
Subsequently, in phase two, data connection will be developed via API to offer more convenient and faster services. The public will be able to report incidents, request assistance, and track the status of cases related to the Ministry of Social Development directly through Traffy Fondue. This is expected to be completed by the end of this year and represents a significant step in enhancing public service delivery by using technology to link inter-agency work, reduce procedures, and increase the efficiency and accessibility of assistance services.
