
Deputy Interior Minister Worasit confirmed that all dismissals related to local exam fraud have been completed 100%, emphasizing that no appeals or lawsuits have been filed despite over 1,500 individuals requesting to review their scores.
On 31 August 2026, Mr. Worasit Liangprasit, Deputy Minister of the Interior, spoke about the progress of dismissing officials involved in local exam fraud, stating that today, 31 August, marks the deadline set by the Central Committee for completing all dismissals.
According to the report, all dismissals have been completed. Among 5,925 individuals with abnormal scores, 3,864 had already been appointed and have now been dismissed. Those remaining who have not yet been appointed do not require dismissal but will not be appointed in the new round. He confirmed that the dismissal process is now 100% complete.
The Deputy Minister also noted that approximately 1,500 people have requested to see their exam scores. After reviewing the information and evidence, none have disputed or complained. Furthermore, none of the dismissed officials have filed complaints or appeals.
He added that there have been no reports of anyone filing lawsuits with the administrative court seeking protection. He affirmed that everything is proceeding normally.
