Prime Minister Anutin then heard details on water management development and administration from Mayor Narongporn, who requested additional government funding for water pumps and canal dredging. This is part of preparations to manage water in 2026 and to mitigate possible future floods. Mayor Narongporn reported that the reservoir’s water storage capacity could be increased from 500,000 to approximately 1,300,000 cubic meters. They plan to obtain permission to use 25 rai of unused municipal land in Kho Hong for phase 2 of the reservoir construction.
