“Decharat” campaigns in Nonthaburi District 3, meeting residents and orchard farmers to promote policies to elevate farmers and build a livable city growing together with its people.
On 1 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Decharat Sukkamnead, candidate for Nonthaburi PAO chief from the Prachachon Party, number 4, campaigned and met citizens in District 3 of Nonthaburi Province, accompanied by Anusorn Kaewwichian, Prachachon Party MP for Nonthaburi, to hear local issues and present development policies for Nonthaburi PAO.
In the morning, Decharat and his team greeted people at the Rama 7 roundabout to promote the election to commuters heading to work. They then walked to Sri Bang Kruai Market to meet vendors and distribute pamphlets introducing themselves and their policies, before traveling to Khun Phaendin Garden for close discussions with locals.
Later, Decharat and his team visited Phuttharaksa Mahasawat Garden to meet and talk with flower growers and local orchard farmers about their agricultural work and to listen to concerns about saltwater intrusion affecting cultivation.
Decharat stated that preserving agricultural areas and creating opportunities for farmers to continue their livelihoods is a key challenge addressed by the “Kaset Non Choo Jai” policy. It aims for the PAO to systematically support farmers by reducing costs through fertilizers and machinery, developing markets by linking produce to school meals, promoting agricultural tourism, and applying technology to environmental care, so Nonthaburi’s agricultural areas can survive and generate stable income amid urban changes.
Additionally, the Prachachon Party proposed the “Non Tiao Tae Jao” policy to support young farmers and small entrepreneurs by expanding sales spaces both offline and online, offering business consulting, product development, and standards enhancement, alongside promoting local tourism to increase economic opportunities for small-scale producers and communities.
Decharat added that water and environmental issues are also priorities. They plan to propose the “Non Klong Klong” policy to restore and connect canal systems and create a comprehensive canal map for long-term management planning. The “Non Mai Nong” policy aims to develop water management by collaborating with communities, establishing smart water management centers, and developing water retention areas to improve the province’s resilience to water problems.
“A good city should not be measured solely by the number of buildings or urban expansion, but by its ability to create quality of life where people can grow together. We intend to apply experience and innovations from other cities to ease burdens and open new possibilities for the people,” Decharat emphasized. Decharat reiterated this commitment.
In the evening, Decharat and his team planned to visit Wat Suan Yai to meet with volunteer groups and the founders of the Parrot Conservation Club, then engage with residents at the entrance to Therd Phra Kiat Road. The day would conclude with a bicycle campaign to canvass and greet local people alongside Rakchanok Srinok, a Prachachon Party party-list MP.
