Anutin Credits Julphan for Idea to Host Cabinet Dinner, Hints at Many Topics for Discussion

The Prime Minister revealed he will open his residence to invite coalition ministers for dinner on 6 September, pointing out that Julphan is the originator of the idea. He declined to act as chef himself, jokingly expressing concern that no one would join the table.

On 1 September, at the 60th Anniversary Celebration International Convention Center of Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai campus, following a Cabinet meeting press briefing, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Chanvirakul was seen talking with Labor Minister Julphan Amornwiwat outside the meeting room. When asked about inviting coalition ministers to dinner at his residence on 6 September and whether the ministers had been notified, Anutin smiled and pointed at Julphan, saying, "Ask Mr. Julphan." Julphan quickly replied, "Yes, they have been informed."

When further asked if the prime minister would personally host the dinner at his residence, Anutin said it was simply an invitation to dine together at his home, adding that Julphan was truly the one who originated the idea. Regarding topics to be discussed over dinner, the prime minister said they would talk then, as there were many matters requiring discussion.

Reporters asked if the prime minister would showcase his cooking skills as a chef that day. Anutin responded casually and jokingly, "No, otherwise no one will come," then laughed warmly with the press group.
