On 3 Sep 2026 GMT+7 at the parliament, Parit Watcharasindhu, an MP from the People's Party, disclosed after briefing the Police Committee on the leaked case documents of senator election rigging that over 90% of the meeting time was spent questioning him, while the DSI and the Crime Suppression Division were each asked only one question.
Parit affirmed that the leads on senator election rigging corruption came from multiple sources and were carefully vetted. The credibility is proven as the disclosed information has been confirmed true every time, including the political money trail from Amnat Charoen politicians to election commission officials, which later led the commission to issue a statement acknowledging and disciplining the officials, and the audio clip at the B2 hotel, which the Nong Khai provincial governor admitted was his voice.
“As an MP invited to provide information, I am willing to cooperate and accept scrutiny. I hope that MPs from all parties will apply the same standards. If any committee invites MPs to provide information on issues of public interest, I hope for similar cooperation,” Parit said.
