
Prime Minister Anutin is set to hold the first meeting on 4 September concerning the 'Illegal Data Center' matter, affirming that everyone already understands their roles and procedures. He cut off comments when asked about MP Ice Rakchanok's criticism that the cabinet on tour does not dare to visit the three southern border provinces.
At 14:50 on 3 September 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, gave an interview at Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan regarding the case of unauthorized installation of data centers (Data Center) in several areas, which has caused public concern, and was asked about the approach to address this issue. He said, a committee has now been established to oversee the matter and is aware of all the problems.
When asked whether there would be clarity soon, the Prime Minister stated, that tomorrow (4 September) the first meeting will be held. When further questioned about whether additional orders would be issued, Anutin said, everyone knows their roles and understands the procedures already.
The reporter added that as soon as the name Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, list MP from the People’s Party who criticized the official cabinet tour (the cabinet on tour ) for not daring to visit the three southern border provinces was mentioned, the Prime Minister immediately cut off the response, saying, "We are currently at the temple." He then promptly left the interview.
