At 10:50 a.m. on 5 September 2026 GMT+7 Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview in Ratchaburi Province regarding the Supreme Administrative Court's reversal of the lower court's decision to accept the case filed by Dr. Sorn Boonbaichaiyapruk, Chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), who sued the NBTC selection committee over their assessment of his qualifications. Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilprapunt was asked if he had reported on this matter, and he said he had not received any report.
When reporters asked whether the government needed to take any action, the Prime Minister replied briefly, "We have already taken action."
