
Supachai received the honorary Doctorate in Business Administration after the Rajabhat Ramkhamhaeng University Council awarded it to honor and recognize her as a knowledgeable individual who has driven outstanding national development in the country.
On 5 September 2026, His Majesty the King graciously appointed General Surayud Chulanont, President of the Privy Council, as his representative to the Siriworapanya Auditorium at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province, to confer degrees to graduates from central region Rajabhat universities and Suan Dusit University for the academic years 2024–2025 on the fourth day of the ceremony.
On this occasion, Supachai Suthamphan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, received the honorary Doctorate in Business Administration for the academic year 2025 from the royal representative. This followed the unanimous resolution of the Rajabhat Ramkhamhaeng University Council, which awarded the honorary degree to honor and acknowledge her knowledge, capabilities, and experience in organizational management and her outstanding contributions to driving national development.
Supachai was recognized for her significant work and role in promoting and developing the country's economy, trade, and investment, as well as enhancing Thailand's global competitiveness. She also advanced the application of innovation and technology to elevate organizations, the business sector, and Thai society to adapt and grow steadily amid rapidly changing economic conditions.
Receiving the honorary Doctorate in Business Administration also reflects her dedicated service with commitment, adherence to good governance principles, and continuous contributions benefiting the nation and society.
For this ceremony, Rajabhat Ramkhamhaeng University awarded honorary degrees to six distinguished individuals and conferred degrees to 634 graduates at doctoral, master's, and bachelor's levels.
