On 6 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, addressed allegations from the People’s Party about connections between the 36th committee and the advanced political and election development course (P.T.S.). He said he did not know how to respond, denying any involvement whatsoever, calling the claims baseless and mixed up. He suggested MP Parit Wacharasindhu of the People’s Party should first answer regarding Minister Napin Srisonpang, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, because when Parit and Napin spoke on a program, most citizens likely got some clarity on who was truthful and who was not.
Therefore, if they lose that argument, they should not take it out elsewhere. As representatives, they must show maturity and avoid petty provocations. Each party is working independently. Currently, Bhumjaithai Party has no right to comment on the Senate election collusion case. At a recent party meeting, Anutin reiterated that this is not Bhumjaithai’s issue. One month before the Senate election, the party leader issued a directive forbidding members from interfering with the Senate election.
