Anutin explains signing the deportation order for an Israeli national under new regulations to tighten and accelerate law enforcement against foreigners behaving inappropriately and posing threats to security and Thai people.
On 6 Sep 2026 at the Bhumjaithai Party, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke about signing the Ministry of Interior's deportation order for Mr. Yaacov Ohayon, an Israeli national, to leave the Kingdom of Thailand on 5 Sep 2026. He said under the new 2026 Prime Minister's Office deportation regulations, any undesirable conduct by foreigners towards Thai people, or inappropriate actions within the country that endanger security and Thai citizens, allows the Minister of Interior to deport them from Thailand.
Anutin stated that this measure tightens law enforcement to be more decisive and faster. While Thailand welcomes many tourists, visitors must respect the law, Thai people, and Thai customs and culture. If visitors act inappropriately or disruptively, Thailand reserves the right to deport them according to the law.
