He affirmed that the Social Security Board election will definitely proceed on 27 September as planned. Neither he nor the Ministry intends to delay, postpone, or obstruct the voting date. All mechanisms are accelerating preparations to ensure the election is conducted transparently and fairly.
Regarding the appeal to the Administrative Court, Mr. Julpan explained this is not a new attempt to block or cancel the election at this time. It is a routine legal process that was filed earlier to ensure thoroughness and legal soundness in official duties. However, in policy terms, he has clearly emphasized that the highest goal is to successfully hold the election on 27 September. Thus, accusations that he says one thing but does another are unfounded.
On concerns about documents and powers of attorney from corporate employers, he assured that these are not burdens or conditions to block voting rights. Instead, they are necessary to confirm the identity of authorized representatives properly, prevent fraud, and close legal loopholes that could lead to disputes or lawsuits invalidating the election later.
Regarding election preparedness, including the operational manual for polling officers, guidelines for valid and invalid ballots, and systems to prevent multiple voting, the Election Commission and staff are finalizing details in the last phase. A meeting to finalize and publish the manual on schedule will be held. He assured that all personnel are working diligently as neutral parties to ensure the smoothest possible election.
Mr. Julpan concluded by stressing that as Minister of Labour, he has never been detached from the issues and has closely monitored the Social Security Office's work. His key duty is to protect the interests of over 24 million insured persons and ensure the election is held without legal gaps that could invalidate it later.
