At 08:45 on 8 September 2026 at the Parliament, Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, responded to former People's Alliance for Democracy leader Sonthi Limthongkul's statement that the blue regime is worse than the Thaksin regime. Warawut said he believes there is no blue or Thaksin regime, only a democratic system with the King as head of state. He acknowledged that each political party has leaders in different periods with distinct working styles and new approaches and techniques. He emphasized that labeling regimes differently overlooks the fact that Thai people live under one system.
When asked if he had a message for protesters planning to take to the streets, Warawut said he hopes they do not cause trouble for fellow citizens. He encouraged them to exercise their rights and express their opinions within the law and to avoid causing inconvenience to those around them.
