The Cabinet meeting approved the transfer of Natthaphon Rangsitphon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, to the position of advisor to the Prime Minister.
On 8 Sep 2026 GMT+7, a report from the Cabinet meeting stated that the session, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, approved transferring Mr. Natthaphon Rangsitphon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, to serve as Advisor to the Prime Minister at the Permanent Secretary level (senior administration) under the Office of the Prime Minister.
However, the Cabinet meeting did not propose a new appointment for the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry because it must wait for the previous Permanent Secretary to fully vacate the position according to the law.
