Siripong Uses AI PRO to Counter Social Media, Tests Senator Query and Gets Orange Answer

"Tong Siripong" used AI PRO to respond to social media, testing the query "Senator" and receiving "orange" as the answer, pointing out that those who believe AI without scrutiny are certainly unwise.,

At 11:15 a.m. on 9 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkit, Deputy Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament for Sisaket from the Bhumjaithai Party, gave an interview at the Parliament building regarding social media posts showing an experiment using the TH-AI Passport, which asked users to guess the color most associated with a given word; when "Senator" was typed, AI replied "blue."

Siripong said he personally tried using an AI PRO function that he purchased for about 2,500 baht per year, testing a word-and-color matching game. When he asked about "banana," AI answered "yellow," for "apple" AI said "red," and when asked "senator," AI answered "orange." Siripong then showed his AI usage history to the media.

He said today we need to understand AI use; some say AI answers make people smarter or dumber, but he disagrees. Though not an AI specialist, he has grown up experimenting with AI and believes many have similar experience. He compared AI to navigation apps that might lead users into canals or dead ends, because AI, as a Large Language Model, processes existing data.

Thus, experiences vary by country depending on data and training. Navigation apps have improved from leading to dead ends to giving better directions through widespread use. Similarly, TH-AI Passport relies on data input by users and cannot be taken as definitive answers.

Siripong also said many people should learn proper AI use: asking questions, seeking answers, and being skeptical. At first, when using AI, many questions were answered incorrectly, prompting users to challenge responses, which is part of learning.

"Therefore, if AI is used properly, as the TH-AI Passport project likely teaches, by applying scientific methods to question, find answers, and verify correctness, users won't be ignorant. But if one believes AI or hearsay without filtering or questioning, then that is truly unwise."
