Pakamon is set to expose that the Southern region has the highest number of 'children of officials' involved in blue-uniform corruption, followed by the Northeast. These individuals secured government jobs without taking exams. She threatens to reveal names if the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and the Anti-Corruption Organization do not cut off the cases before reaching political figures. It is revealed that the Election Commission has signaled a request to avoid debates that could cause impact on them.
On 9 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Pakamon Noon-anun, a party-list MP and spokesperson for the People’s Party (PP), posted on Facebook about local exam corruption, stating: “Checking the quota list of ‘children of officials,’ there are dozens who registered for the exam but did not attend, yet were officially appointed to government positions. This group was not disqualified because their answer sheets were not altered, meaning these top-tier ‘children of officials’ did not even take the exam but were appointed anyway. This is clear blue-uniform robbery.”
Ms. Pakamon further explained that the dozens of top-tier ‘children of officials’ involved in blue-uniform corruption are found mostly in the South, followed by the Northeast. Current information is reliable and indicates that the Anti-Corruption Organization and the National Anti-Corruption Commission have detailed data on these candidates’ exam registration locations. They are watching to see if investigations will extend to these top-tier individuals. She expressed concern that if investigations do not reach the political networks behind this, the cases will be cut off. If so, her party will disclose the information to the public.
Ms. Pakamon also admitted it is unlikely that the 2027 budget bill will be finalized within the planned timeframe. Originally, the parliament was to continue tomorrow with a motion regarding the three southern border provinces, followed by the Election Commission’s report. Any attempt to change tomorrow’s agenda clearly indicates efforts to delay the budget process and affect the debate on the Election Commission’s report.
“I have heard that there is a message from the Election Commission requesting no confrontations affecting them until 14 Sep, and if they can be protected, discussions or certain requests might proceed smoothly,” Ms. Pakamon said.
Ms. Pakamon stated she does not know how the Election Commission will decide but urged the public to monitor political intentions. If there is an attempt to prevent the debate on the Election Commission’s report, she believes this goes too far and shows excessive intent to protect the Election Commission.
When asked if this means the national budget is being gambled on protecting the Election Commission and personal interests, Ms. Pakamon said that while others may think so, she cannot change their minds. However, she emphasized that if there is genuine intent to review the budget, MPs should be allowed to fully express diverse opinions. If the budget is not finalized tomorrow, the opposition is willing to continue on Friday.
