Prime Minister Represents the King at Royal Reception at Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway

The Prime Minister acted as the royal representative at a reception for royal guests and national leaders at the Royal Palace in Oslo following the funeral ceremony of King Harald V of Norway.


On 10 September 2026, Ms. Traisulee Traisoranakul, Secretary to the Prime Minister, stated that His Majesty the King graciously appointed Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul as his representative to attend the funeral ceremony of King Harald V of Norway on 9 September 2026 in Oslo, Kingdom of Norway.



At 5:30 p.m. local time, the Prime Minister attended the official reception at the Royal Palace in Oslo, alongside royal guests, heads of state, members of the royal family, and high-level representatives from various countries who came to pay tribute and condolences to King Harald V.


The reception took place after the funeral ceremony at Oslo Cathedral, with King Haakon VIII of Norway hosting the event to welcome royal guests and distinguished foreign dignitaries.
