Mae Mo Patients Petition Rom to Investigate Two Electricity Committees for Non-Compliance with Supreme Administrative Court Orders

The Mae Mo Patient Rights Network entered Parliament to petition the chairman of the Parliamentary Law Committee to investigate two electricity committees for intentionally harassing and failing to comply with the Supreme Administrative Court's ruling.

On 10 Sep 2026 at the Parliament building, Rangsit Rom, chairman of the Parliamentary Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee, received a letter from Maliwan Nakviroj, chairwoman of the Mae Mo Patient Rights Network, and her team. They requested an investigation into the Electricity Development Fund Committee and the Energy Regulatory Commission for not complying with the Supreme Administrative Court's judgment and for allegedly harassing and unfairly revoking group members' rights, violating human rights principles.

After receiving the letter, Rangsit Rom said the Parliamentary Law Committee, together with MPs from Lampang province, accepted the complaint. They allowed the complainants to explain the reasons and key issues behind the petition to the media, to support the committee's consideration and further action as appropriate.
