On 11 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Aekniti Nitithanprapas spoke about the progress of the “Thai Help Thai Plus” Phase 2 project, stating that it is currently under review and no final decision has been made.
When asked about the budget concerns previously raised, Aekniti said that there is still remaining budget from the 200 billion baht loan decree funds used earlier. Regarding whether the extension would cover 2 months, the matter is still being considered, potentially extending by 1 or 2 months, and will be evaluated alongside the overall economic situation.
