Prime Minister Anutin has ordered Aeknithi to use the remaining budget of the "Thai Chua Thai Plus" program, leftover from citizens who did not register, to extend it through the last quarter of this year. The aim is to help reduce burdens, emphasizing that this government consistently acts for the people.
On 12 September 2026 at 17:30 GMT+7, at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul spoke about the project "Thai Chua Thai Plus." He said that currently the Thai Chua Thai Plus program has only one month remaining, and he is aware that there is still budget left from citizens who did not register, approximately 40-50 billion baht. He has instructed Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Aeknithi Nitithanprapas to extend the Thai Chua Thai Plus program by one or two months, ensuring it stays within the available budget, and further decisions will follow thereafter.
The Prime Minister added that the program will continue because the final quarter of the year remains, covering October, November, and December. The remaining budget will be used as much as possible, stating that whatever budget remains will be distributed to the people to reduce their burdens, especially given the increased fuel costs. This is what this government continuously does for the citizens.
