The Prime Minister declared his commitment to the country without worries, questioning whether Sonthi's actions are merely for personal satisfaction or if they cause distress to the public.
On 12 September 2026, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Chanvirakul spoke about the political situation and opposition movements, saying he focuses his energy on working for the people and the nation, so he has no worries. He also shared the success of his recent visit to Norway, where he gained significant trust from foreign leaders, especially regarding food security, highlighting Thailand's abundance and superior production capacity compared to many countries.
Regarding the movements of Sonthi Limthongkul, former leader of the People's Alliance for Democracy, who declared an intent to unsettle the government, Anutin questioned whether these actions aim to prevent the government from functioning, which would ultimately harm the public. He said he is not worth exchanging the happiness of the entire country just to satisfy someone else's personal gratification.
The Prime Minister confirmed his openness to listen to all opinions without prejudice, as long as they adhere to the law and maintain peace. He also noted there is no need to organize workshops to hear public feedback because MPs and he himself have continuously engaged closely with the people in the field.
