
The Permanent Secretary of the Interior and the incoming National Police Chief led a lively delegation to celebrate Prime Minister Anutin's 60th birthday, while General Prayut Chan-o-cha and Khunying Pojaman sent flower bouquets accompanied by congratulatory cards.
On 13 Sep 2026 GMT+7, at Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul's private residence, a private merit-making ceremony was held for his 60th birthday with family. Several ministers who learned of the event also came to offer their congratulations, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anek Laothamatas, and Deputy Minister of Interior Pol. Lt. Gen. Phonpi Suwannachawi.
Prominent political figures sent flower baskets and congratulatory cards, such as General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Privy Councilor. The Prime Minister opened and read General Prayut's congratulatory message and instructed that the flower vase be placed in his home.
Also present were Khunying Pojaman Damapong, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yasothon Wongwasi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Meanwhile, senior executives from the Ministry of Interior, led by Permanent Secretary Atthasit Sampanrat and various department directors, jointly came to congratulate the Prime Minister. They presented a plaque inscribed with the Prime Minister’s directives stating, “Alleviate suffering, promote well-being, protect public peace, eradicate drugs, defeat criminals.” This plaque was given to the Prime Minister as a commemorative gift.
Additionally, Police Lieutenant General Samran Nuanma, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, led a delegation of police officials to join in congratulating the Prime Minister on his birthday.
