The Interior Ministry secretary has informed governors nationwide, inviting citizens to join merit-making and almsgiving ceremonies dedicated as a royal merit to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha on the 100th day (Satamavara) since her death.
On 14 September 2026, Mr. Assit Sampanrat, Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, announced that Friday, 18 September 2026, marks the 100th day (Satamavara) since the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Thepyaewadee, Krom Luang Rajsarin Siripatchara Mahavajraratchathida. The Cabinet has approved religious ceremonies to be held as royal merit offerings at central, regional, and overseas locations to respectfully remember her boundless royal grace.
The Ministry of Interior has notified governors of all 76 provinces and district chiefs of all 878 districts to invite citizens from all walks of life to organize and participate in merit-making and almsgiving ceremonies dedicated as royal merit to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Thepyaewadee, Krom Luang Rajsarin Siripatchara Mahavajraratchathida, on the 100th day (Satamavara) since her passing. The events will be held at provincial halls, district offices, or suitable venues on Friday, 18 September 2026, at 07:30 hrs. Provincial governors will preside over the provincial and city district ceremonies, and district chiefs will preside over district ceremonies, inviting regional monastic leaders, including ecclesiastical superiors and local monks, to conduct Buddhist chanting.
