iLaw has unveiled evidence from witness Ekarat Changlao, witness 16/26 in the Senate rigging case, revealing that individuals in the Bhumjaithai Party executive meeting planned the 2024 Senate selection, with the scheme initiated by "Pradorn" and mentioning "Newin" as present at the meeting.
On 14 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reporters noted that following a press conference by Mr. Yingchip Atchjanont, project manager of the Internet Law for People (iLaw), after the Election Commission's ruling on the investigation into the Senate member selection, iLaw announced it would release related information about individuals not charged, sourced from investigation files, including witness 16/26, Mr. Ekarat Changlao, former MP of Khon Kaen Province from Bhumjaithai Party, who would discuss the 2024 Senate selection process at 20:00.
At 20:00, the iLaw Facebook page posted images of special case 24/2568 investigation documents with the message: "Releasing the testimony of" “Ekarat Changlao” Witness number 16/26, whom the Election Commission chair referred to during the announcement of the ruling on the Senate selection fraud case, special case 24/2568, involving conspiracy to commit money laundering by individuals or groups under Section 209 of the Criminal Code and related laws, or the gang-money laundering case concerning the Senate.
The testimony mentions a meeting of the Bhumjaithai Party executive committee where plans were made and presented to secure Senate seats, initiated by Mr. Pradorn Prissanantakul through an offline program, with the Bhumjaithai executives present including:
