Royal Gazette Announces Toll Increase on Prachim Ratthaya Expressway from 65 to 80 Baht, Effective 15 Dec 2026

The Royal Gazette published the Ministry of Transport’s announcement adjusting the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway toll from 65 to 80 baht, effective from 15 December 2026.


On 15 September 2026, the Royal Gazette website published the Ministry of Transport’s announcement regarding the designation of the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway as a toll road, including vehicle categories subject to or exempt from tolls, and the toll rates for 2026.

The Expressway Authority of Thailand, during its 8/2026 meeting on 14 July 2026, reviewed the investment concession contract terms for designing, constructing, managing, operating, and maintaining the Si Rat - Outer Ring Road Expressway between the contracting company and the Expressway Authority (Prachim Ratthaya Expressway). Accordingly, it set the toll rates for the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway as per Section 19 of the Expressway Authority of Thailand Act B.E. 2550 (2007).

Under the authority granted by Sections 5 and 19 of the Expressway Authority of Thailand Act B.E. 2550 (2007), the Minister of Transport issued the following announcement.

Article 1: This announcement shall be called “The Ministry of Transport Announcement on Designating the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway as a Toll Road, Vehicle Categories Subject to or Exempt from Tolls, and Toll Rates, B.E. 2569 (2026).”

Article 2: This Ministry of Transport announcement shall take effect from 15 December 2026 onward.

Article 3: The Ministry of Transport announcement dated 18 November 2021 concerning the designation of the Si Rat - Outer Ring Road Expressway as a toll road, vehicle categories subject to or exempt from tolls, and toll rates is hereby repealed.

Article 4: The Prachim Ratthaya Expressway is hereby designated as a toll road.

Article 5: Vehicles listed in the vehicle category annexed to this announcement shall be subject to toll fees.

Article 6: Vehicles listed in the exemption category annexed to this announcement shall be exempt from toll fees.

Article 7: Toll fees shall not exceed the rates specified in the toll fee schedule annexed to this announcement.

Article 8: Users of the expressway must pay toll fees at rates approved by the Expressway Authority of Thailand at designated toll collection points as determined by the Expressway Authority.

Article 9: Users of the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway who wish to access the Si Rat Expressway (Chaeng Watthana - Bang Khlo and Phaya Thai - Srinakarin routes) and the Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (Din Daeng - Tha Ruea, Bang Na - Tha Ruea, and Dao Khanong - Tha Ruea routes) must pay tolls at the Bang Sue 2 toll plaza according to rates announced by the Ministry of Transport for these expressways as toll roads, including applicable vehicle categories and toll rates.

However, users of the Prachim Ratthaya Expressway intending to access the Si Rat Expressway (Chaeng Watthana – Bang Khlo and Phaya Thai – Srinakarin routes) and the Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (Din Daeng – Tha Ruea, Bang Na – Tha Ruea, and Dao Khanong – Tha Ruea routes) must pay tolls at the Bang Sue 2 toll plaza according to Ministry of Transport rates, as follows.

1. Vehicles with up to 4 wheels: toll rate of 80 baht per vehicle (increased from 65 baht).

2. Vehicles with more than 4 but no more than 10 wheels: toll rate of 130 baht per vehicle (increased from 105 baht).

3. Vehicles with more than 10 wheels: toll rate of 185 baht per vehicle (increased from 150 baht).
