She said this follows the EC's decision and that there has been no internal party discussion yet. Regarding the names of Supachai Pho-su, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Somkiat Liangprasith, father of Worasit Liangprasith, Deputy Minister of Interior, she said a final conclusion is awaited since the EC takes 60 days before sending the case to the Supreme Court, allowing each person to consult with lawyers to prepare their defense. When asked if Bhumjaithai felt relieved, Nan Bunyathida said "relieved" was not the right term, but rather that they have not been worried from the start because they are confident they are uninvolved and can explain clearly. Asked whether the case would implicate Bhumjaithai leaders once in court, she said this would follow legal procedures. When questioned about how to explain to the public given skepticism that Senate candidates could act alone, she differentiated between belief and factual evidence, saying accusations and beliefs are separate.
