"Akkaradech" urges the government to quickly launch “Thai Travel Thai Plus” for the year-end high season, revealing public support for “Thai Help Thai Plus” as it helps reduce living costs.
On 15 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Akkaradech Wongpitakroj, MP for Ratchaburi from the Bhumjaithai Party, said after completing the review of the 2027 fiscal budget bill and meeting locals in Ratchaburi that the government’s “Thai Help Thai Plus” program has been very well received and supported by the public. The program directly alleviates daily living expenses amid the energy crisis. Although the amount may not be large, every baht truly reaches low-income groups. From his field visits, he reflected that the government is on the right path and he supports continuing this program.
Additionally, Akkaradech spoke about the concept of the “Thai Travel Thai Plus” project, suggesting the government expedite this measure to coincide with the important year-end tourism season (High Season). This would not only stimulate the economy, create money circulation, and distribute income to tourism operators, but also offer people the chance to take their families on vacations and spend quality time together. This project brings multiple benefits, driving the overall economy while fostering happiness among Thai families.
