16 Sep 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Krawit Prissanantakul, MP for Ang Thong from the Bhumjaithai Party, spoke at a session of the House of Representatives regarding the work of Subcommittee No. 26, saying he had not signed up to debate but raised questions about the chairman’s responsibility in the matter of information and details in the investigation files, which should have been kept within the review process but instead leaked to outsiders.
Krawit added that as a former accused who suffered harm from this process, he had formally requested information about the allegations to understand the charges, including date, time, location, and related details, so he could prepare a proper defense, but received no response from the subcommittee.
“As someone accused, I submitted a written request for information on when and where, who did what, and how, but they did not respond. Instead, the details ended up in the hands of outsiders.”
Meanwhile, Krawit questioned how the chairman of Subcommittee No. 26 would take responsibility for the leak of information during the investigation process to outsiders. If it was explained that the accused did not provide their side of the story, then the question arises how they could respond when their written requests for information and details needed to prepare a defense were ignored.
Additionally, Krawit raised the possibility that if the leak was not due to negligence by the subcommittee, the chairman should clarify whether he was aware of or involved in the dissemination of information to outsiders. He emphasized the need for clear answers, especially regarding responsibility for the damage caused to the accused and the Bhumjaithai Party, and called on the chairman to explain the facts and assume responsibility for the subcommittee’s work.
“I want answers. As the chairman, I want to know how you will take responsibility for the damage caused by your negligent work.”
