At 10:00 a.m. on 17 Sep 2026 at the Government House, Mr. Sihasak Puangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, representing Thailand in the compulsory conciliation process under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), together with Mr. Benjamin Sukanjanachatee, Director-General of the Treaty and Legal Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the delegation, came to the Thai Khu Fah Building at the Government House to report on the first meeting of the compulsory conciliation commission between Thailand and Cambodia under UNCLOS. This meeting had been held from 14-16 Sep 2026 in Singapore, and they reported the results to Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul.
At 10:40 a.m., the Prime Minister arrived at the Government House after completing duties at the Ministry of Interior. Upon arrival, he did not immediately exit the vehicle but remained inside for about 5 minutes before entering the Thai Khu Fah Building, where he paid respect to a replica statue of Narasingha before proceeding with his duties.

It would be premature to provide information now. He emphasized that this meeting focused solely on maritime boundary issues and did not involve land areas, which are the responsibility of the Border Affairs Committee.
