On 19 September 2026, Mr. Ekaphop Pianpiset, spokesman for the Office of the Prime Minister, disclosed the schedule of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul. He will attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) from 20 to 27 September 2026 in New York City, USA, with visits to Japan and the United Kingdom. Sunday, 20 September 2026.
The Prime Minister and delegation will depart from Military Airport 2, Wing 6 (บน.6) to Tokyo International Airport (HND), arriving in Tokyo in the evening before checking in and having dinner.
Monday, 21 September 2026.
In the morning, the Prime Minister will chair the Thailand team meeting in Japan at the Imperial Tokyo Hotel. In the afternoon, he will depart from Tokyo International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City, USA. Upon arrival in New York, the Prime Minister will check in and receive a briefing on the UNGA81 schedule from the Thai Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
Tuesday, 22 September 2026.
The Prime Minister will attend the opening ceremony of UNGA81 and begin the general debate at the United Nations Headquarters. He will then meet with Ms. Rebeca Grynspan, the candidate for UN Secretary-General from Costa Rica. In the afternoon, he will join a roundtable discussion with investors alongside Bank of America and hold talks with executives from Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) before attending a reception hosted by the U.S. President for the UNGA81 meeting.

In the morning, the Prime Minister will visit and hold a small group meeting with Google executives at their Pier 57 branch. He will then meet the Thai community in New York and nearby areas at Wat Buddhathai Thaworn Wararam. Afterwards, he will have a working lunch meeting with Brookfield executives, followed by bilateral talks with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands at the United Nations Headquarters. In the evening, the Prime Minister will meet with private sector groups and deliver a speech at a dinner hosted jointly by the U.S.–ASEAN Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

In the morning, the Prime Minister will meet with executives of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and participate in the bell-ringing ceremony to open trading. He will then join a roundtable discussion with investors alongside Jefferies Group LLC. Subsequently, he will hold talks with the Prime Ministers of Bhutan, Armenia, Bangladesh, and the UN Secretary-General at the UN Headquarters. At 17:00, he will deliver Thailand’s general debate speech at UNGA81 as the eighth speaker, speaking for about 15 minutes before departing New York for London, United Kingdom, in the evening.

The Prime Minister will arrive in London in the morning. In the afternoon, he will meet with the Mayor of the London Economic Trade Area, representatives from UK financial and service businesses, the President of the Thai-UK Business Council, and trade representatives. He will then attend a tea reception and hold talks with UBS Group AG, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Rolls-Royce, respectively.

The Prime Minister and delegation will depart from London Stansted Airport (STN) in the morning to Military Airport 2, Wing 6 (บน.6), arriving in Thailand at 07:00 on 27 September 2026.
At the end, the government spokesman stated, “During this trip, the Prime Minister has important agendas including attending UNGA81, delivering the general debate speech on behalf of Thailand, and holding discussions with leaders and international organization executives. He will also meet with the financial sector, investors, and private sector representatives in the United States and the United Kingdom.
