On 19 September 2026, the Royal Gazette website published three announcements from the Prime Minister's Office dated 18 September 2026, signed by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul as the recipient of the royal decree.
The first is a Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the appointment of officials at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), which states: By royal decree, it has been graciously ordered that Mr. Nittipan Prajuabmoh an official at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), be relieved from the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC and appointed to serve as Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. This appointment is effective from 1 October 2026.
The second announcement from the Prime Minister's Office concerns the release of a military officer from his position and the appointment of a civilian official. By royal decree, it has been graciously ordered that General Chaiyarit Duangprapat be relieved from the position of Army Chief of Staff, Royal Thai Army, Ministry of Defence, and appointed as a civilian official to the position of Secretary-General of the National Security Council. This appointment is effective from 1 October 2026.
The third announcement from the Prime Minister's Office concerns the appointment of a civilian official. By royal decree, it has been graciously ordered that Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad be relieved from the position of Secretary-General of the National Security Council and appointed to serve as Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office. This appointment is effective from 1 October 2026.
