Some academics have criticized the Election Commission for only investigating minor details rather than major figures. Senator Phisit said the EC has clearly addressed all seven points of allegation. He is unsure what "major figures" refers to, but confirmed that all involved, including Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and political party executives accused, have been addressed by the EC. He emphasized that the EC, as the authorized body overseeing Senate elections, should resolve the matter through its process. When asked about possible future lawsuits to the Supreme Court Election Case Division, similar to cases involving Ms. Daeng Kongma and Senator Somphan Palasak, he said this is under the court's jurisdiction and the complainants’ rights. He cannot prevent such actions. The EC, as respondent number one in such cases, should clarify each complaint. He himself cannot comment and expects the EC to provide answers.
Asked if he is concerned about potential lawsuits at the Supreme Court level after no charges were filed by the EC, Senator Phisit said everything is proceeding according to the law. He has never been worried and remains confident in the legal and justice processes. He said fairness has already been achieved but efforts continue.
When asked about the opposition's plan to use the Senate collusion case as a main theme in the government no-confidence debate, Senator Phisit said that is the government's responsibility. He is part of the legislature but in a different chamber from the House of Representatives. The House must decide if and how this issue relates to them; he cannot speak on their behalf. When pressed if senators might be implicated, he said that is natural since the case involves Senate collusion. As the EC has already issued rulings and decisions, he believes all matters have been settled and that all parties should have satisfactory answers.
