On 20 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Jeset Thaiset, Deputy Minister of the Interior (MoI 3), sent a team of advisors to meet the victim’s family in Bangkok to follow up on the case originating in Uthai Thani province, aiming to listen to information, concerns, and assistance needs.
Mr. Jeset stated he places special importance on this case, as it occurred in Uthai Thani, his hometown. He emphasized the significance of protecting victims of sexual violence, preventing repeat offenses, and establishing mechanisms to ensure public safety. The Deputy Minister’s advisory team engaged closely with the victim and family, focusing on non-judgmental listening and asking about their needs for safety, rights protection, and coordination with relevant agencies.
