On 21 September 2026, Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi Thongsaluaykorn, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government, through the Department of Employment of the Ministry of Labor, is promoting opportunities for Thai students to develop skills and gain work experience abroad. The department is accepting applications under the 3 M. Overseas/Internship Program to work with MGM Grand Paradise Limited in the Macau Special Administrative Region, offering 20 positions across three roles.
- Food and Beverage Staff: 10 positions.
- Receptionists: 5 positions.
- VIP Food and Beverage Staff: 5 positions.
Selected candidates will receive a salary of approximately 54,397 to 71,575 baht, depending on the exchange rate, along with employer benefits including round-trip airfare at contract end, meals during work, overtime pay, annual leave, and other benefits per Macau labor law.
Applicants must be male or female aged 21 to 30, currently in their final year of university, able to communicate well in Mandarin and English, possess a positive attitude and suitable personality for the job. Height requirements vary by position: males must be at least 180 cm tall, females at least 163 cm.
Applications are open from 14 to 23 September 2026, 24 hours a day including public holidays. The system will close at 16:30 on 23 September. Interested applicants can apply online at toea.doe.go.th.
There are no fees or service charges for this application or overseas job placement. Successful candidates are responsible only for necessary expenses such as photo fees, passport fees (if applicable), health checkups, criminal record checks, and membership fees for the Overseas Employment Assistance Fund, totaling about 4,700 baht.
