Dr. Tul confronted the Election Commission (EC), urging a review of the collusive Senate election verdict and proposed sending all 229 accused to the Supreme Court under Section 62. He pointed out that the original decision prosecuted only 77, neglecting duties and letting 152 slip, while also demanding legal action against three witnesses who reversed their statements.
At 1:30 p.m. on 22 Sep 2026 at the Election Commission office, Dr. Tul Sittisamwong submitted a letter to the EC, calling for a meeting to reconsider the verdict on the 2024 Senate election fraud case, following the proposal of the 26th investigative subcommittee. He urged prosecuting all 229 accused before the Supreme Court's Election Division, in accordance with Section 62 of the 2018 Senate Election Act, and to legally pursue three witnesses (nos. 16/26, 21/26, and 22/26) who reversed their testimonies.
Dr. Tul said that the EC's decision to prosecute only 77 accused under seven offenses still fell short of fully enforcing the 2018 Senate Election Act. It neglected to consider prosecuting all 229 accused under Section 62, which amounts to dereliction of duty. According to the 26th investigative subcommittee’s case files, there is clear evidence that these accused jointly committed fraud in the Senate election, undermining the election's integrity and fairness.
